Quotes for the Week of 3/24/2013 Nature & Spring

292141_10150808936016342_525712734_nI know that I am not the only person who is anxiously awaiting the real spring, not the calendar spring which  has now passed.  Don’t get me wrong, I love winter – to a point, but enough is enough. Spring, to me is more than just warmer weather – it generates a plethora of  feelings such as:  freedom, growth, rebirth & joy.   Walking  outside in nature both clears my mind and inspires me at the same time.  As I walk,   I savor the beauty around me, feel gentle breezes in my hair and enjoy watching the birds and squirrels play  in the trees.    It calms my spirit just to think about it.

Since we can only hope for spring to come ASAP, why not celebrate the season with some quotes in an attempt to lure it out of hiding.

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” Albert Einstein

“Earth laughs in flowers.”  Ralph Waldo Emerson  Butterflies and Spring

“This is the foundation of all. We are not to imagine or suppose, but to discover, what nature does or may be made to do.” Francis Bacon
